I genuinely dislike the name ‘bucket list’ because the word ‘bucket’ in no way encompasses the important concept of having epic goals.
Bucket lists represent an effort to live a life less ordinary. It places priority on the experiences that make your heart beat out of your chest. We all have different passions and goals, personally most of mine are travel related because that’s what makes me feel most alive. Also, one of the most beautiful aspects of these types of life experiences are the profound effects they have on your career and spirituality.
One of my biggest fears in life is dying before I really have the chance to live. Or, less dramatically, waking up one day and not having time to do the things I’ve always wanted to do. Its cliche but I strive to live each day like it’s my last. This life is so fleeting and fragile. Nothing is guaranteed and you could lose everything in the blink of an eye.
The beauty of the bucket list is that its ever-growing! The moment you cross one off, ten more pop up. It wouldn’t be the end of the world (maybe) if I don’t accomplish everything on this list but it keeps me motivated to constantly work for more and become the best version of myself. I was hesitant to post this because I usually avoid making expectations but I thought it would fun to show you what my dreams look like.
WARNING: may cause an overdose of travel inspiration and implore you to spend all your time and money working with the sole purpose of doing cool shit. Manifest wisely:
Travel to every country in the world
Go on an expedition to Antarctica
6 month National Parks road trip throughout the Western half of the USA and Canada (BC and Alberta)
Visit Colombia’s Rainbow River
Scuba Diving Master and volunteer to clean polluted reefs
Live in a van with my mates and road trip around the coast of Australia
